Wash Day
A full scale washing machine made with wash care labels and the word Monday in the wash.
I have been working with clothing and their labels for 20 years, so it seemed quite relevant to assemble a washing machine with washing instruction labels. The work not only reflects our throwaway society but also recent news press about synthetic clothing fibres polluting our oceans during washing. Think about all the garments that are being washed every day, my mother only washed on a Monday in a dolly tub and dried our clothes by pegging out.
